We are a brand of Welcome Service Sàrl, an independent family company founded in 1990. We have grown from a single office in Lausanne into a team that now covers 26 cantons, but the way we work has not changed: one consultant, one point of contact, one relocation followed through to the end.
How the company started
Welcome Service Sàrl was founded in 1990 by Catherine Burrus, who set out to offer premium relocation services in the canton of Vaud. The company expanded to Geneva and the Lake Geneva region in 1995, building the two-office base that anchored its first decades.
Laetitia Papilloud joined as a relocation consultant in 2004 and took over leadership when Catherine Burrus retired in 2009. Guillaume Bédat joined in 2014 to support the company's growth, and today Laetitia Papilloud and Guillaume Bédat lead the business together as managing partners.
From a regional agency to a national team
The Lausanne office opened in 2017, and an immigration department was launched in 2019 to handle permit applications as a dedicated specialism rather than a side task for generalist consultants.
In 2023, the company expanded nationally through the acquisition of Schweizer Relocation GmbH and Touchdown Relocation, and opened its Zurich office the same year. That step brought the team's reach beyond French-speaking Switzerland into German-speaking cantons and gave clients relocating anywhere in the country a local point of contact.

Today, more than 40 relocation consultants work under the My Swiss Relocation brand, covering 26 cantons and more than 10,000 relocation mandates handled since 1990. Consultants are organised around three offices, with additional activity in Zug, Lucerne, St. Gallen and Basel where we support clients without a permanent office on site.
Each mandate is assigned to a consultant who stays with you from the first conversation through to settling in, rather than passing your file between departments. Depending on your situation, that consultant works alongside colleagues who specialise in immigration, home finding, schooling or corporate relocation programmes.
